Naarden (Netherlands)

Last Sunday we decided to go to a Star City of Naarden. The tiny town has 3 (three) museums and about the same number of streets. Plus a church and a lot of fortified walls. We went there by bikes, encouraged by the sun which appeared from nowhere, and we were not a little bit confused by the first snow that appeared several hours before.

Bye-bye, Dubai!

Megalomania and construction everywhere...

Sea like boiled milk and permanent haze in the sky...

"The famous shopping" is more expensive than in Europe and everything around is so artificial...

Not the right season for surfing and not the right place to live...

NY'2011

Winter here is like late fall in the northern countries! Of course I'm talking about colours of nature only, because the temperature in January is as comfortable as +25 and might reach +30 in Eilat on the Red Sea.

There is a great diversity in nature: you can swim in the Dead sea in the early morning (-400 m under sea level) and listen to the silence of the Desert Negev in the very evening (1000+ m above sea level)...

As for the people they are very diverse as well: you can meet a very open-mind volunteer from a local kibbutz or a merchant eager to sell you some shit for an overrated price :-)
